Please note:
At the moment, we plan and strongly hope for a face-to-face meeting. However, we will carefully observe the pandemic situation and adapt the meeting format accordingly. In case of changing the format to online-only, the f2f registration will turn into the virtual registration and the difference in fees will be reimbursed.
Students have to upload a proof of their student status (student ID) during the online registration process.
The registration fee includes:
- processing of your abstract(s),
- the participation in the conference,
- tutorial on machine learning and data assimilation as well as
- lunches and coffee breaks.
Riverboat trip with dinner on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 7 p.m.
During the three hours evening cruise we will follow the traces of former kings and queens of the Hohenzollern dynasty belonging to the UNESCO World Heritage and see the most beautiful sights in Potsdam and the southern area of Berlin lined up next to one another like a string of pearls along the banks of the river Havel:
The Palace and Park Babelsberg, the tower »Flatowturm« and the »Small Palace«, the Glienicke Park, the Palace on Peacock Island, the Church at Sacrow, the New Garden with the Marble Palace and Cecilienhof Castle, where the Potsdam Agreement was signed in the summer of 1945. Further highlights are the new Hans Otto Theatre and the famous Glienicker Bridge.
During the tour, a tasty buffet awaits us. Enjoy the amazing river landscape and, if we are lucky, a gorgeous sunset. Returning, Potsdam will greet us with a beautiful twilight silhouette.

The harbor is situated at the bridge »Lange Brücke« next to the main station and the pleasure garden »Lustgarten«. You find the cruising company »Weiße Flotte« directly at the Hotel Mercure.
